About the Maintenance Department
The purpose of the Maintenance department, part of the Operations division, is to guarantee system availability, reliability, and safety across all our operations. This is accomplished through efficient asset management, involving skilled professionals, structured processes, and effective teamwork.
Your role as (Jr.) Maintenance Engineer
As (Jr.) Maintenance Engineer, you will act as a Project Manager. Therefore, you will be responsible for the preparation, planning, guiding of technical personnel and the execution of planned maintenance intervals. You will also perform non-routine maintenance projects at a global scale (~ 30% of your time, although this number can vary based on business needs). Moreover, you will give support (either from the office or abroad) to the Operation Control Center when complex malfunctions occur. You will join a team of 4 Maintenance Engineers, and you will report to the Team Lead Maintenance Engineering.
Regular activities
Being the Project Manager for maintenance projects and complex / non-routine maintenance jobs/life time extensions.
Carry out detailed inspections of Ampelmann systems (Condition Assessment).
Be at the forefront when rolling out improvements to our systems but also share in-the-field experience within the maintenance and innovations department.
Educating and enabling stakeholders to be able to perform maintenance tasks and improving and developing related procedures and documents, all while promoting safety culture.
We ask
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Offshore or equivalent
0-5 years of relevant working experience (a maintenance-related internship is preferred)
Proactiveness and collaborative approach
Proven project management skills
Strong communication skills and sense of responsibility
Willingness to travel and to get your hands dirty
Proficient English language skills (Dutch language is a plus)
