What we do

Ampelmann develops innovative systems and services for the offshore access industry and enables the safe transfer of personnel and cargo from a vessel to an offshore structure or installation, and back. Our active motion compensation technology accounts for the movements of a vessel, making offshore access as easy as crossing the street.

Our selection process

We ensure a structured and fair selection process to provide equal opportunities for everyone. Our vacancies are posted online for two weeks, with the closing date clearly indicated in each posting. After the deadline, we review applications and notify all applicants within a week. Selected candidates will complete a maximum of two interview rounds over two weeks, starting in the week after the vacancy deadline. Once interviews are done, we will inform the candidates of the outcome immediately. That same week we will extend an offer.

While our process is typically consistent, we’ll let you know of any variations in advance to ensure adequate management of your expectations.

Departments

Structural Change

The focus of Structural Change is on (re)designing and implementing business processes and strategies that drive organizational change and growth throughout the whole company.

Innovations

The Innovations department develops all new products for our internal and external clients. From concept to line product, offshore access solution to digital service, they research, design and build all of Ampelmann’s products.

Staff

Our Staff department provides specialised support and services to other departments, ensuring smooth operations within Ampelmann. This department includes Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement, Facilities, Walk to Work (W2W), and P&O.

Operations

Operations is responsible for making sure our global operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently. They manage our client’s projects, maintain and improve our systems, are responsible for crewing and provide 24/7 technical and operational support.

Business Development

Business Development focuses on building client relationships, driving growth as well as marketing Ampelmann’s products and services to internal and external clients.

Our Gangway Operator Mechanics are at the heart of Ampelmann’s mission. They use their technical skills and commitment to safety to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot our advanced gangway systems offshore. By keeping our gangways in top condition, they ensure smooth and reliable transfers of people and cargo, even in challenging conditions. With a focus on excellence, they provide world-class service and work hard to deliver the best experience for our clients every day.
