About the Offshore Drone Services team
Our offshore cargo drone service is designed to deliver critical packages quickly and efficiently from Service Operation Vessels (SOV) to offshore wind turbines. This service reduces technicians’ waiting times and maximizes turbine productivity, leading to more turning time (productivity) for the turbines. While still in its early days, the drone service is ready to scale, and we need a hands-on leader to ensure its success.

You will join a tightly connected, pioneering team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. In this role, you will work closely with a business development manager and a lead engineer to coordinate both the strategic growth and technical execution of our groundbreaking drone service. Together, we are shaping the future of offshore logistics by delivering new, efficient solutions to the industry.

Your role as Project Manager – Offshore Drone Services
As Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day flight operations of our cargo drones, guiding the service from its current stage into a mature, scalable business. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and help drive the growth of this exciting new service. As the company scales its drone operations, you’ll play a key role in its long-term success, while developing your skills in one of the fastest-growing sectors. The Project Manager reports to our Concept Manager.

Regular activities

• Act as the accountable manager for all cargo drone flight operations, ensuring compliance with both aviation and offshore safety regulations.
• Prepare, execute and close-out projects from an operational perspective.
• Build and develop the team to drive market growth by hiring, training, and managing a team to support the scaling of our offshore drone services.
• Secure continuous improvement to the service by providing feedback from the operation, therefore growing the offshore wind energy sector.

We ask

• Minimum HBO (bachelor's degree), preferably in business, engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in the offshore energy sector or drone technology is preferred but not required
• Strong leadership and planning skills, self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to create structure in a fast-growing and dynamic startup environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally travel (10%) to offshore sites and business partners
• Proficiency in English is required, and Dutch is preferred
