About the Composite Community
In the recent years, we have been working on composite structures and structural components for our gangways, where a step-by-step introduction of the composite technology is followed. One example of a composite structure that is now already operating offshore for a couple of years is the Composite Slideway.
As multidisciplinary team, the Composite Community is responsible for these developments.
Your role as Work Student Composite Structural Engineer
To be prepared for future innovations, we are looking for a motivated work student to define the Ampelmann Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling standard for composite products using the software RFEM 6. The main goal of the assignment is to investigate how composites can be best modelled in RFEM 6.
By performing the assignment you can create the possibility for Ampelmann engineers to perform in-house feasibility or concept studies for their new composite innovations. The defined way of working and developed tools will be directly used for the next project, which ensures that the theoretical study performed can be applied to real-life examples. Your work will be supervised by an experienced composite structural engineer.
Regular activities
