About the HSE Department

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department provides guidance to employees regarding safety offshore and improves safety awareness through campaigns and coordinating them with other, global regions. Additionally, HSE staff participates in investigations of safety or environmental-related incidents. The team currently consists out of one HSE Engineer and the Manager HSE.

Your role as work student HSE

Your role will be to provide support to the HSE department. You oversee all administrative tasks and keep control of the document library. You will be in contact with colleagues from across the world and from all kinds of department to answer their questions, gather information on HSE issues and to support them with HSE related tasks.

Regular activities

• Provide administrative support (e.g. take minutes, prepare case files, control manuals, procedures and registrations).

• Support departments with HSE related questions.

• Monitor safety reports and inform organization with regards to HSE reporting.

• Provide HSE statistics and data for quotations to the Business Development department.

• Participate in HSE projects, such as organizing the HSE day.

We ask

• HBO or WO student, HSE studies are a plus

• Affinity with offshore and/or safety is a plus

• Excellent communication skills in English (required)

• Availability for at least 16 hours per week

You get

• A gross salary of EUR 17.10,- per hour (all-inclusive)

• Reimbursement of commuting costs when not in possession of student travel card
