About the W2W (Walk to Work) Academy
The W2W Academy sets the standard in creating gangway training programs to ensure safe & efficient offshore access for Ampelmann’s and our client’s personnel. As a team, we make sure that we provide trained and competent Gangway Operators to all Ampelmann projects globally. The W2W Academy develops training programmes in a modular built and innovative way for the entire fleet of Ampelmann systems, with a clear focus on “On The Job-experience”.
The team currently consists of three Project Managers, two Training Coordinators and a Work Student and is led by the Manager W2W Academy. Surrounding this ‘core team’ is a group of dedicated Operator Trainers, responsible for the execution of the training programmes, both onshore and offshore.
In this role you will report to the Training Coordinator.
Your role as Work student W2W Academy
In this role you will provide support to all our Operator training programs: onshore, offshore, and worldwide. You will facilitate training activities and support every prospective Operator (trainee) or client with their questions. You will quickly be able to run our Learning Management System (LMS) on your own, to file, check, and the ongoing trainings and certifications. Ampelmann is a rapidly growing organization; therefore, there will be plenty of projects to tackle!
Regular activities
Organize trainings (making a schedule, arranging a location, informing the trainees, etc.)
Update and upload documents to our W2W Academy platform (Learning Management System - LMS)
Answer training related questions in the W2W Academy mailbox
Keep track of operator compliancy (validity and expiration date of certificates)
Support with other administrative tasks (shipping packages, printing and laminating training material, making an (online) W2W-academy newsletter)
We ask
Enrolled in an HBO or WO study (preferable affinity with Business Administration, L&D, HR, Educational science)
Excellent communication skills in English
Proficient computer/software skills including MS Office
Good organizational skills and proactive attitude
Availability for a minimum period of 12 months for 12-24 hours per week
You get
A gross salary of EUR 17,10 per hour (all-inclusive)
Reimbursement of commuting costs when not in possession of student travel card
